The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality selected Kolb Grading to complete closure of the NABORS Landfill in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Kolb installed outfall structures and 2,390,000 square feet of closure turf, placed a 6-inch grading layer and clay cap across 2,000,000 square feet, and added an anchor trench, perimeter fencing and gates, and energy dissipaters.
Scope of Work
- Install outfall structures
- 2,390,000 sf of closure turf installation
- 13,500 lf anchor trench
- 7,400 lf perimeter fencing and gates
- Install 6” grading layer for 2,000,000 sf
- Place clay cap on 2,000,000 sf
- Install 10 energy dissipaters
